Vicky the Viking to make Live Action Leap

The German/Japanese animated series popular in Eurpoe and Japan will be made into a live action film by German director Michael Herbig.

Vicky the Viking comes from the Zuiyo Eizo animation studio based on Vicke Viking the children's book by Swedish author Runer Jonsson.



The story follow a young Viking boy and his father on voyages.

Director Herbig is casting the Vicky the Viking and will begin filming in the Summer. The production companies Constantin Film and Rat Pack production plan to release the film 2009.
